Asian market review 28/12/2007

As expected Asian markets opened weaker following the slump in the US markets overnight after a weaker than expected economic data came out from the US and also the assasination of former Pakistani PM, Benazir Bhutto. Nikkei was opened at 15455, Kospi at 243.40 and Hangseng's old contract at 27501 while new contract opened at 27584.
The Kospi opened weaker but not as weak as I've expected at 243.40. It was pretty flat in early morning trade and it went down to 242ish. I did get a BUY, experimenting with my new online meta trader, at 244.00 and I did get my profit at 245.00 but Kospi went up further after I liquidate my position. It went to as high as 245.75 before plunging down towards 241.90 within the last 20 minutes of trading. Kospi moved between: 241.90-245.75 today on the last trading session for 2007.
Hangseng opened weaker even further than I expected. It opened at 27584 (new contract). I'm only going to discuss new contract coz I'm playing with new contract now. Again I used my new meta trader for experimenting today. I did get a BUY at 27400 and 27495. I auto liquid my position at 27500 and 27600 respectively. However, Hangseng once again defied my and it went up further to 27732. Frustrated, I get a SELL at 27600 and I had to wait until 2nd session before I get my profit when I use the auto liquid feature at 27500. 2nd session opened lower at 27513 than 1st session close at 27564. It went down further towards 27264 and close the day at 27300. Hangseng today moved between: 27264-27732.
