Asian market Review 04/12/2007

With the Dow ending lower in last night session, a softer start was expected for Asian markets. Nikkei started at 15645, while Kospi opened slightly higher at 243.05 and HangSeng opened lower at 28515. With the exception of Nikkei, both Kospi and HangSeng moved higher in early morning trade. Kospi reached its peak at 244.65 just moments after it's opened. It went back down again though to 242ish. I did follow my guide today and put a SELL order at 243.00 and I had to liquid it quick when the price is going down after rallying to 244.65. My target price range is close enough today for Kospi with its highest price at 245.20.
In HangSeng case, I followed my guide again too today, following Kospi's early movement upwards, true enough the HangSeng moved up towards 29000 level and it touched it after just 90 mins of trading. Both market have quite a nice gain today paced by steelmakers and banking stocks. This is different to Nikkei's case where US subprime concerns again is the issue in Japan. The Nikkei closed lower at 15470, Kospi closed the session at 244.05 and HangSeng closed at 29093.
