Asian market review 27/12/2007

As expected, Asian markets opened slightly higher but almost flat from yesterday's closing. Nikkei opened at 15695, Kospi at 244.85 and Hangseng opened at 28345. Most markets are still in holiday mood with thin trading volumes and profit taking are still dominating the markets.
The Kospi opened higher at 244.85 and it reached its highest peak at 247.20 within 2.5 hours of trading. I did get a BUY at 245.15 and I had to wait "patiently" for my profit coz during that time, it went down to its lowest of 243.30 before going back up and fetched my price target. Strong market is still expected for the Kospi but right now, profit takers are the main players towards the end of the year. Kospi today moved between: 243.30-247.20.
Hangseng opened higher at 28345 and it went to touch its highest peak of 28414 within minutes. Profit taking session was in progress for Hangseng market and also, last full trading day for Hangseng futures made Hangseng tumble today. It went back down and play around 28200ish and closed the 1st session at 28214. 2nd session opened at 28053 and it continued to tumble towards its lowest of 27784. Hangseng today moved between 27784-28414 for old December contract and 27854-28456 for new January contract. Hangseng was closed at 27793 for old contract and 27866 for new contract.
