Asian markets opened higher as expected following the strong US close on Friday. Today however, trading volumes are low and most markets trade within small gaps between highs and lows. Nikkei was closed today for holiday, Kospi opened at 241.45 and Hangseng opened at 28132.
As expected, Kospi opened up higher and luckily enough, it's still below the 242 mark I've mentioned in the morning. I did follow my guide and I BUY around open price at 241.60 and I did get my Christmas profit within the hour. Kospi kept on rising and the lowest point it touched was at 241.30 and ended the session at 244.55 after touching 245.20, its highest point. Kospi was traded between: 241.30-245.20 today.
Hangseng opened up higher and it's still below my targeted open price of 28200. I didn't get greedy though and I just sit back and watch Hangseng today as they have a pretty short session between 10 AM - 12.30 PM (HK time). For those day traders who did follow my guide, they should get quite a nice Christmas present too as Hangseng moved up to 28313 after touching its lowest point of 28065. Today's trading session was between: 28065-28313.
Markets are going to be closed tomorrow for Christmas holidays and Dow will be trading half day later on tonight.
